      How to Play

      Goal

Defeat the other player's Mobs. If your active Mob is defeated and you have no Mob on your bench or in your hand to send out, you lose. If both players lose their last Mob at the same moment, it's a draw.

      Setup

Each player shuffles a 20-card deck and draws 4 cards. If there's no Mob among them, they're shown to both players and shuffled back, then you draw again. Pick one Mob to be your active Mob; your other Mobs go on your bench (up to 3) and any Items go to your hand. A coin toss decides who goes first. Everyone starts with 20 Energy.

      Your turn

      1. Draw one card (skipped if your deck is empty).
      2. Play Items, use abilities, put Mobs from your hand on your bench, or switch Mobs β€” as many as you can afford.
      3. Attack once with your active Mob.
      4. End Turn.

      Energy (hunger)

Energy never refills by itself, so food matters. Attack: 1 Β· Switch: 4 Β· Most Items: 2 Β· Chicken and Steak: free Β· Stray and Shulker abilities: 3 Β· Creeper: 1 Β· Enderman Teleport: free (3 per Enderman). Energy can't go below 0 or above 20.

      Attacks, step by step

      1. Pay the Energy.
      2. Start from the Mob's ATK, add Strength Potions, add +3 if Bed is active and the target is Undead.
      3. Zombie and Skeleton flip coins to reduce or dodge damage.
      4. If the target has a Shield, its owner chooses whether to block.
      5. Damage is dealt, Husk drains Energy, defeated Mobs are removed (Evoker may revive), replacements come in, and the winner is checked.

      Online fairness

In online games the server runs the match. It flips every coin, checks every move, and never sends you the other player's hand or deck order. Moves made on an old screen (for example after a double tap or a reconnect) are refused, so nothing happens twice.

      House rules in this version

      • Opening Items go to your hand; only Mobs sit on the bench.
      • On your turn you may put a Mob from your hand onto an empty bench spot for free.
      • Stray's priority means its next attack on a Shielded Mob can't be blocked.
      • Shulker's player picks which opposing benched Mob gets pulled in.
      • Neither player sees the other's starting Mob until both have chosen.
      • Creeper's normal attack deals 0 (plus Strength or Bed bonuses); Self-Destruct is its real attack.
      • At the end of a turn, a player with no Energy, no cards to draw and no Chicken or Steak has no usable cards left and loses. If both are stuck like that, or nobody takes damage for 10 turns after both decks run out, the match is a draw.

What we store on our server

      • Your email address β€” only to send sign-in codes. It's never shown to other players or used for anything else.
      • Your player name, saved deck, and win/loss/draw counts.
      • Online match records β€” which two accounts played, who won, how many rounds.
      • Sign-in codes and sessions β€” stored only as scrambled fingerprints (hashes). Codes expire after 10 minutes, sessions after 30 days.
      • Live online matches β€” kept until the match ends, then deleted shortly after; unfinished rooms are deleted after a day without activity.
      • Your IP address β€” for up to 24 hours, only to stop code-request spam.

      What stays on your device

      • A sign-in cookie (HttpOnly, so page scripts can't read it).
      • Your settings, your deck, and the code of your current room (in local storage).
      • An offline copy of the game's files so Play vs Bot works without internet. Online match data is never cached.

      Email

Sign-in codes are sent through an email delivery service. We don't send newsletters or ads.
